Five quick ones with Naama Lundgren
“From a coincidence to a passion – 13 years with NetSuite”
Some stumble into their professions by chance, others find their passion along the way – Naama Lundgren did both. As Business Area Manager at Noresca, she has a key role in developing the company’s NetSuite business, and she was also the third Noresca employee with the idea of setting up a Stockholm office. Five years later, the company has grown to over 30 people and continues to expand.
We caught up with Naama to talk about NetSuite, trends, and what makes her job so fun.
How did you get into NetSuite and what made you stick with it?
– It was really a coincidence! I’ve always been interested in systems, and when I started working with NetSuite 13 years ago, it was still quite unknown. But I quickly realized that it was an incredibly flexible system, where you can build powerful solutions that can be customized to the customer’s needs.
The best thing is that NetSuite evolves with the business – I got hooked on that dynamic and haven’t seen any reason to leave it since.
What are you working on right now?
– Right now I’m involved in two big projects:
The first is about NetSuite WMS (Warehouse Management System), where we connect a scanner to the system so that all warehouse management happens live. It streamlines flows and minimizes errors.
The second project is a Healthcheck, where we analyze a customer’s NetSuite environment to identify areas of improvement and optimize their system for future needs.
What do customers appreciate most about NetSuite?
– The flexibility and scalability! NetSuite makes it easy to grow, adapt processes and expand internationally without having to change systems.
Many customers also appreciate that it is an all-in-one system, where finance, inventory, CRM and e-commerce can be managed on a single platform – giving better control and overview.
What trends do you see right now in NetSuite and business systems?
– Companies with global expansion plans are looking for systems that can balance central control with local customization, and NetSuite is a perfect match.
We also see an increased demand for automation and integrations, where companies want to streamline processes and minimize manual work through smart connections between different systems.
What is it like to work at Noresca?
– Inspiring and fun! I was one of the first people hired and suggested we start a Stockholm office – and today we have grown to over 30 people!
We are now in a phase where both the consulting role and the leadership require full focus, and we plan to recruit a dedicated Business Area Manager to Stockholm. It feels great to be part of this journey and build something really strong together.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
– Finding creative solutions! Finishing a project feels a bit like sending your child to kindergarten for the first time – you have built something that will stand on its own, and with pride and excitement you see it start to live its own life. 😊
