Five quick ones for Nikola Gavric
What happens when a developer with an eye for detail discovers a system that combines technology, automation and business processes? Well, you get someone like Nikola Gavric, Technical Consultant at Noresca. Gavric was also the second person to join Noresca, just after founder Christoffer Lander.
With a background in development and a fascination with systems integration, Nikola has found his perfect niche – connecting technology and business in a way that really makes a difference. But how did the journey begin? What drives him? And what trends does he see in business systems right now?
We sat down with Nikola to get an insight into his exciting everyday life – where fast pace, complex solutions and smart automation are part of the game.
How did you get into NetSuite and what made you stick with it?
– I started on the client side and was responsible for parts of NetSuite both during and after implementation. It didn’t take long before I realized how powerful the system is – it offers a perfect balance between development and configuration right in the user interface.
With my background as a developer, I was used to dealing with the whole tech stack, but I liked that NetSuite let me focus more on development and less on DevOps. I also realized that I wanted to work faster and more varied, which made the consulting role a natural step for me.
What are you working on right now?
– I always work on several projects at once! Right now, a lot of focus is on further developing our own services, such as Noresca Bank Connector, Noresca Administration Customer Portal and other solutions that simplify customers’ everyday lives.
What are the biggest benefits of NetSuite according to customers?
– The most common thing I hear is the flexibility – that NetSuite is easy to customize to your business needs without costing a fortune.
Scalability is also a big benefit. Many of our customers are in a growth phase, and NetSuite makes it possible to grow without having to change systems later on. In addition, many like the fact that it is an all-in-one system where finance, logistics, CRM and e-commerce can be managed on one platform.
What trends do you see right now in NetSuite and business systems?
– We see that customers want to be more self-sufficient, which means that we focus a lot on training and smooth handover.
Another big trend is automation and integrations. Companies want to connect their systems and minimize manual work. This is something we work a lot with at Noresca, for example by developing solutions such as the Noresca Administration Customer Portal, where customers can manage cases and support directly in NetSuite.
Can you tell us about a customer case where NetSuite and Noresca made a big difference?
– Of course we do! We’ve had customers with very different goals – some wanted to automate large parts of their business, while others needed a scalable solution to handle rapid growth.
One example is a customer who wanted to streamline their order processing and invoicing. By implementing smart integrations, we were able to reduce their manual work by over 70%, saving time and reducing errors.
Another case was a customer who needed a better support channel for their users. Using our Noresca Administration Customer Portal, we were able to create a solution where they could manage their support cases directly in NetSuite – smoothly, efficiently and fully integrated.
