Five quick ones for Per Caiman
In our series “5 Quick” we have now come to Per Caiman, a frisbee playing, experienced NetSuite consultant. Per is also one of those who has been with Noresca for a few years and in addition to helping NetSuite customers get the most out of their investment, personnel issues are close to his heart.
We took the opportunity to talk to Per on a walk towards Delsjön.
Per tell us a bit about your journey as a NetSuite consultant at Noresca?
Yes, the journey started a while ago, I have a degree in economics but have always had a great interest in technology. When I suddenly one day stood between jobs, I was tipped by a friend, who worked with NetSuite, that they were looking for staff and when I learned more about the system and the job, I realized that it was a perfect way to combine economics and technology. The journey was via Alterview Acando & CGI as for so many others.
In our interview series, many have highlighted various competitive advantages with NetSuite, is that something you want to highlight?
I have, among other things, worked with extremely fast-growing companies in e-commerce and they mainly highlight NetSuite’s support for rapid international expansion where they could easily set up new companies in new markets.
The system has not only “worked” for these customers but has been able to support them and enable rapid growth. Other customers have made specific and complex technical demands on us consultants at Noresca and on NetSuite as a system. The fact that NetSuite is not only a configurable business system but also a development platform means that our competent developers have great opportunities to customize or completely build customer-specific solutions.
What do you feel your customers are talking about now, what topic concerns most customers at the moment?
Seamlessly automated flows with integrated system landscapes that simplify or completely eliminate tedious, time-consuming manual processes are something we see more and more people asking for. We are so used to everything just working nowadays and in exactly the same way, our customers demand that we deliver a system and solutions that “just work”.
Once at Delsjön, we come to the more light-hearted questions about Noresca.
Tell us Per, what is it like to work at Noresca?
Noresca is a workplace that challenges and encourages, that inspires and engages, where we support and help each other. It is an incredibly educational place to be and above all we have a lot of fun!
Is there anything you want to add before the bath?
Not really, maybe just summarize it all with one of the things that makes the job extra stimulating. It’s a huge satisfaction to create working solutions to complex problems. It can be about configuring and setting up NetSuite, or developing customized solutions, or maybe just supporting the customer in an internet change process. Regardless of how I arrive at the end result, problem solving is the most stimulating thing for me.
