Five quick ones for Johan Gustafsson
We took the pulse of Johan Gustafsson (who incidentally has the lowest resting heart rate at Noresca!). We got a clear indicator of what’s important in the workplace and why he thinks the number of NetSuite users is growing at record speed.
Tell me who is Johan Gustafsson?
I am 31 years old and grew up in Falkenberg a few miles south of Gothenburg. Since a couple of years back my girlfriend and I live in Gothenburg. In addition to my job at Noresca as a consultant, I work as an instructor in GRIT at Nordic Wellnes.
How did you come to work with NetSuite?
After studying systems science, I applied to the IT industry to develop in business systems and after a while I got the opportunity to try working with NetSuite. Since then, NetSuite has been the obvious choice for me. After the recruitment of Johan, Noresca has taken a closer look at trying to get hold of more candidates from the same education and 2023 was the first year when we successfully exhibited at the labor market day organized by Halmstad University. Several interesting candidates are now booked for interview in the spring.
What questions do you get most now from your customers?
I would say that most people want to streamline their processes and above all automate. This is actually quite natural, as many people who implement NetSuite do so because of the unique ability to automate both small and large flows. They want to streamline and automate their processes to be able to spend time and energy on the business instead of the systems.
You’ve been getting to know NetSuite for some time now and have been involved in countless projects, what would you say are the main benefits that customers mention?
There are many! But most of all, I like that it’s 100% cloud-based and that it works for companies of all sizes. Compared to many other ERP systems, Netsuite has an appealing and easy-to-use interface. Another advantage that customers mention is the flexibility and simplicity of integrating with other systems and thus tailoring solutions to suit the business process.
A clear trend now is automation, we are moving more and more towards companies wanting the capacity to grow scalably without having to hire more administrative staff. Then automation is the only way, something that we at Noresca are very good at.
Finally, what is it like to work at Noresca?
It is great! We have a flat organization without prestige and a good culture. It is always possible to ask for help and we are there for each other. Then we have a lot of fun together and do all kinds of fun things like conferences, trips, aw, and definitely not least, tournaments in Mario Kart!
