Rosenborg goes to Noresca
Caroline Rosenborg stands at the intersection of tradition and innovation in the financial sector. With a career spanning more than a decade in auditing and accounting, Caroline has experience in both the public and private sectors. Raised in a charming town north of Gothenburg, she has since built her life in Stockholm, surrounded by family, music and dance that reflect her diverse interests and passions. Caroline’s story is not only a journey through the world of numbers but also a reflection of a life lived to the full, balanced between professional successes and personal joys.
Can you share a bit about your background and what has shaped you into the person you are today?
I have spent the last thirteen years in auditing and accounting, where I have explored both public and private sectors in finance and retail. I grew up in a small town north of Gothenburg, but life took me to Stockholm where I now live with my family and our little dog. My life is a mix of work and passions, where the Melodifestivalen, Latin American dance, and a love for Italian food play big roles.
Tell us about your professional journey before joining Noresca. What roles have you had and what did they teach you?
My first career step was as an assistant auditor at E&Y, where I gained an insight into public finance. After that, I switched sides to accounting and joined Collector Bank, a period filled with development and challenges, especially during the bank’s expansion and IPO. Later, I moved to Stockholm for a role at H&M as a Business Expert in Finance, where I acted as a bridge between accounting and IT. There, I had the opportunity to work internationally on projects ranging from Europe to India and South America.
What got you interested in Noresca and how did you find your way here?
It was a friend who introduced me to Noresca and the more I learned, the more fascinated I became. The attraction lay in the opportunity to work in an ambitious startup, meet external customers, and above all, the opportunity to immerse myself in NetSuite as a new ERP system.
Given your extensive experience, what are your expectations and goals at Noresca?
I’m really looking forward to diving deeper into NetSuite, learning all its intricacies and how it can be used to streamline our customers’ operations. I also hope to contribute to Noresca’s internal development, especially by focusing on our processes and tools.
How would you summarize your first impressions of Noresca and what are you most looking forward to?
My first impressions of Noresca are extremely positive. It is a cohesive group of incredibly talented people who support each other. I already feel like I am part of a strong team and I look forward to being part of this journey and contributing to the Noresca success story.
Caroline Rosenborg’s journey is an inspiring story of growth, learning and discovery in finance and technology. With a big heart and a clear vision, she is ready to take on the challenges at Noresca and shape the future of ERP solutions.
