Arbetsmarknadsdagen is a local business fair that was founded in 2015 at Halmstad University. The purpose of the fair is to give students the opportunity to make valuable contacts with the local community, both locally and nationally. Noresca currently has staff who have previously attended the Business Systems Program, now called Digital Business Development, at Halmstad University.

“Participating in the fair and trying to recruit the brightest stars is a natural step in Noresca’s strategy to grow in Sweden,” says Julia Front, Head of People & Culture at Noresca.

The Job Market Day was arranged this year on February 21-22 with more exhibitors & participants than ever. Well-known lecturers such as Per Holknekt & Aron Andersson provided inspiration and over 90 exhibitors in various industries courted the visitors, who mainly consisted of students from Halmstad University.

It was the first time that Noresca participated in this event, one of the reasons being that a popular employee, Johan Gustafsson, has attended the Business Systems Program at Halmstad University.

Johan Gustafsson, NetSuite consultant at Noresca, comments:

I have very good experiences from Halmstad University and it was therefore easy to convince Noresca to participate this year. Although it is not the most famous university in Sweden, it has talented students and relevant programs for the future. I myself attended a program specializing in business systems, which is one of the few of its kind.

Julia Front comments further:

For us, it is not only previous experience that is crucial, for us the person behind the CV is the most important thing in our recruitment process. We have a lot of combined expertise in both Stockholm & Gothenburg, so provided that the person is “right”, we can give them the right conditions to become one of the best NetSuite consultants on the market. We have a lot of assignments and so many experienced consultants that it is possible to quickly establish a new employee and gradually increase the level of knowledge. In fact, we have already chosen to move forward with a couple of candidates for further interviews, which feels great!

Josefine Persson, NetSuite consultant at Noresca, who participated in the fair, explains:

I am fairly new to Noresca in Gothenburg and this is my first workplace after university. I really enjoy the work tasks and my colleagues. After just a couple of months, I started working with my own clients. In the background there are always the senior consultants who can answer questions or concerns, but most of the time you solve the customer’s challenges on your own, Josefine concludes.
