Five quick ones for Joachim Lund
In a world where ERP systems play a crucial role in business success, Noresca is fortunate to have an employee like Joachim Lund. With almost 25 years of experience in ERP, and a particular focus on NetSuite for the past five years, he has been a central part of Noresca’s progress and expansion.
We had a coffee with Joachim at the Noresca office in Stockholm.
Tell us Joachim, how did you get in touch with NetSuite & Noresca?
After a long career focusing on SAP, about 5 years ago I got the opportunity to switch to NetSuite as an ERP system at my then employer. My interest was aroused by NetSuite’s modern architecture and customizability. The transition to Noresca was a natural step, attracted by the company’s ambitions and strong position in the NetSuite market.
What do you mainly work with at Noresca
I am leading the work with a global client integrating their business with a NetSuite solution, initially by including an acquired Swedish company. Despite its complexity, we managed to incorporate the Swedish company into the system, which extended the client’s trust in us, resulting in a contract to manage their NetSuite solution in Europe. This project positions Noresca for expansion and future international assignments. In addition, I am the project manager for a new NetSuite implementation at a Swedish distribution customer, where we are integrating different business processes and systems, using our experience to ensure customer satisfaction and an efficient solution.
What do customers appreciate about NetSuite and what trends do you see? ?
Customers are increasingly demanding automation in their solutions, with Sweden leading the way. This includes integrations for order management, invoice capture, bank file management, inventory system linkages, and payment solutions. At the same time, the need for these automations is increasing as customers often choose the best systems for specific functions and seek seamless, automatic integrations with their business systems. Early on, customers appreciate NetSuite’s flexibility and customizability, especially its user-friendly interface and fast report generation. A special area that customers value highly is a smooth upgrade process, NetSuite has really taken this into account and everyone works in the same version, so-called True Cloud.
Do you have an example of where you, as an ERP implementer, really made a difference to the customer’s business?
Noresca recently implemented a solution for a customer in the automotive industry, where NetSuite’s project module is used to manage and invoice implementations at the customer’s customers. The customer’s initial request for revenue sharing was not optimal, but Noresca was able to convince them of a better solution. After approval of Noresca’s proposal, the solution was implemented, which now leads to global implementation of this management method throughout the group
Working at Noresca
He describes working at Noresca as “fantastic”. The size and ambition of the company creates a unique working environment where Joachim can contribute with his experience. Noresca highly values competence and a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing. “Noresca gives me the opportunity to directly influence customers’ operations by solving specific problems or improving processes in NetSuite. Joachim says it’s pretty cool to see how these small changes can make a big difference for customers.
