Five quick ones for Sintan Siman

In our interview series “Five quick”, it is now the turn of Sintan Siman, one of our appreciated NetSuite consultants with a financial focus. Sintan lives in Gothenburg and has worked at Noresca for just over two years. During a coffee break, we talked about how it all started and how he sees the future.

How did you get interested in ERP?
It actually started during my education, but above all when I started working at H&M as an accountant. Together with some colleagues, I ran an improvement project within the SAP business system. I then applied to Noresca to work with a greater customer focus and, in addition, NetSuite felt like an ERP adapted for the future.

And now that you’ve been working with NetSuite for a couple of years, what do you think of the system?
NetSuite is an incredibly flexible system! You can really customize it to suit the customer’s needs. Because you can tailor the system to the customer’s organization, the user-friendliness is much greater than with other systems. The customer simply gets a system that looks and works in a way that makes sense to them. Another thing that I think is a big advantage is the automation possibilities, it is incredible how much it is possible to adapt to minimize the manual work. We have customers who receive about 5000 orders daily and who can easily handle the inflow with the help of 1-2 people. The automations mean that the customer only needs to react and act on deviations, NetSuite handles the rest.

Do you see any trends and is there anything special that customers are asking for?
I see that more and more customers are asking for three things: automation, extended report management and our product scan & capture. To get more efficient flows, customers today want to be able to automate their processes so that fewer people can handle larger flows. Report management has always been high on our customers’ wish lists, but it has perhaps become even more important with COVID-19 and the approaching recession. We have a product we call scan & capture that creates a digital invoice flow, where we, together with a supplier, use AI technology to ensure that the customer immediately receives correct information in the system.

What is your experience of working at Noresca?
It’s a really fun place to work, with a “high ceiling” among both colleagues and management. Noresca has managed to attract really good consultants with different backgrounds and experiences, which means that we can solve our customers’ problems very well. We also invest in our staff and we have fun together. More people should try Noresca!
