Five quick words for Ulf-Björn Rönn

We recently had the opportunity to sit down with Ulf-Björn Rönn, one of our partners at Noresca. Ulf-Björn has a long and solid experience in business systems and is currently working intensively with analysis and design of business processes for various companies. Here he shares his insights and experiences with NetSuite

What are you working on at the moment?
“I am currently working on business process analysis and design for a growth company and an industrial company. My role is to help our customers improve and streamline their processes by using NetSuite in the best possible way. At the same time, we lay the foundation for continued profitable international expansion. One example of an exciting project I’m involved in is the implementation of NetSuite for a global player. We are working at a fast pace and have to be ready within two months, but everything is going according to plan.”

Tell us a little about how you came to work with NetSuite?
“I have worked for many years in various roles as CFO, CIO, accounting manager and controller, and have been involved in several changes to different ERP systems. Most recently I was CFO at Ridestore. What drives me is to find solutions that are efficient, agile and that generate profitability and growth. In my role at Noresca, I get the opportunity to help many more companies achieve these goals. It’s great to see the difference you can make for customers.”

You have been getting to know NetSuite for some time now and have been involved in countless projects, what would you say are the main benefits that customers mention?
“The main benefits that customers often mention is that NetSuite is globally scalable and easy to grow with. A global database that is constantly consolidated makes the company easier to manage and faster to react to changes. It’s also easy to integrate with other systems, which is a big advantage for many companies.”

Can you see any trends, is there anything special that customers are asking for, are certain questions becoming more common?
“Yes, definitely. Customers are often asking for support for the entire process, including peripheral systems. There is also an increased demand for support with questions regarding expansion into new markets and how best to go about this. Automation, more integrations and customized reports are also common topics.”

What is it like to work at Noresca?
“Working at Noresca is both stimulating and joyful. You really feel that you are making a difference. Through the company we have the most experienced NetSuite consultants in the Nordics, which means that there is always someone to ask for help if you run into problems. It’s a very supportive and positive working environment.”

What do you personally enjoy most about working with NetSuite?“The most enjoyable part for me is finding the best solution that supports the customer’s business processes. It’s incredibly satisfying to see how the right solution can significantly improve a company’s operations.”

Tell us about a customer case where NetSuite and Noresca made a real difference for the customer?
“A memorable case was when we implemented NetSuite on a completely new continent. From decision to go-live it took only four months. It was an intense period, but the result was amazing. The customer was able to quickly start benefiting from NetSuite’s advantages and expand their business in a smooth way.”

Anything else you want to add that I didn’t ask?
“I would like to add that it is important to always strive to understand the unique needs of the customer and to be flexible in your approach. Every customer is unique, and it is our job to customize our solutions to best support their specific business processes and goals.”
